I’m you all remember what time it is??!?!?!?!? That’s right, the Susan G Komen 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk is in November. Just like the last two years, I’m walking again and am in great need of your generosity.  Please remember that I will be walking 60 MILES over 3 days (that’s 20 miles a day-more than I drive to work and back).  My entrance fee is $2300 and without this amount I will not be able to walk.  I walk for many reasons but most importantly for a cure.  As you all know my mother-in-law, Jo Ellis, was diagnosed with the disease in 2008, I will be walking in honor of her.  I also walk for many dear friends Edie Tolbert (my mother’s best friend who was also diagnosed in 2008 and survivor), Lana McBee (my co-worker diagnosed last year, who underwent surgery the first day of the walk last year and survivor), Betsy Griem (family friend diagnosed last year and survivor), Robin Winn (family friend and survivor), Rick Smith (mom's friend, former co-worker, survivor) and in memory of Connie Graham.

And last but not least, Jeanne Briscoe, whom lost her battle with the disease 10 years ago.  Jeanne we miss you and pray for a cure everyday.  And I can't forget that I also walk for my daughters future. So that one day her generation wont be faced with this devastating disease. I walk for all the women and men affected by breast cancer because its the least thing I can do. I walk with minimal training because I feel that those affected haven't "trained" before their experience either. This experience will last with me forever.

Please help me raise the much needed entrance fee because…Everyone deserves a lifetime.

Thanks for your help,

Kenzie Ellis
