When did you first start CrossFit? 2015
Tell us about your sports & fitness background. I never played sports but always tried to stay active with aerobics, spin class and running. I used to lift weights in high school for fun with a few friends.
How did you first get into CrossFit? How did it go? My daughter talked me into going with her. It was really hard but it made me want to do better so I kept going. I never thought I would get handstand push-ups or pull-ups. But I got them at Eclipse!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CrossFit? I was about to graduate to a size 12 and couldn’t bear the thought of it. Within six weeks of doing CrossFit I needed to buy new clothes because I was a size 4
What impact has CrossFit had on your life? It has humbled me for sure. It has taught me to ask for help. It has given me lifelong friends that are more like family and a new, healthier lifestyle.
What is your advice for people getting started or thinking about starting CrossFit? Just do it. The biggest regret most of us have is not starting sooner.
What are your hobbies, interests, and other talents outside of CrossFit? I like to read, run, travel and spend time with my kids.
