When did you first start CrossFit?

I started CrossFit a little over two months ago

Tell us about your sports & fitness background.

I played baseball my whole life through high school and finished up at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Also, I’ve always been in the gym, just nothing in comparison to CrossFit.

How did you first get into CrossFit? How did it go?

I honestly wanted to try something different and I wanted to find myself an atmosphere of individuals who are constantly striving for their own personal fitness goals, I found that through Eclipse.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting Crossfit?

Definitely have seen some overall changes to my body. My legs for one have gotten stronger. I have also noticed that CrossFit has helped me with my work, never really thought about some of the movements we do in class are also some that I use for work. My shoulder and back strength have gone through the roof!

What impact has CrossFit had on on your life?

Just in my short time with CrossFit it has impacted my mental health tremendously. I just feel better all-around with myself after getting a good workout in. I look forward to the classes every day not just for the workout, but also to see everyone. Eclipse is an amazing family, filled with good people.

What is your advice for people getting started or thinking about starting CrossFit?

If you’re going to do it then dive right in. Always listen to the coaches because not only do they want you to lift the big weights or have the fastest chest to bar, but they also want you to be safe and do each movement without hurting yourself. Your safety and health is their number one priority.

What are your hobbies, interests, and other talents outside of CrossFit?

I absolutely love hunting, cooking, and I am also a big movie enthusiast, especially Marvel movies!!

What is your wallpaper on on your phone?

My wallpaper is of my parents.
