What are your favorite hobbies, talents, skills outside of CrossFit?
Drums! I’ve been playing for almost 20 years

How did you find/get to CrossFit Eclipse?
My best friend Justin Burns used to be an Eclipse member and he introduced me to CrossFit

What motto or phrase do you live by?
“No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep”

What is your favorite music to listen to while WODing?
HEAVY METAL 

What is your favorite WOD?
Anything that involves running, double unders, pull ups, and power cleans 

What is your favorite cheat Food(s)?
Deep dish Chicago style meat lovers pizza

What is one thing you have done at CFE that you never thought you would do?
A Muscle-up!

What motivates you through your CrossFit journey?
Being the best athlete I can be and seeing my progress throughout these last 2 years. Sky’s the limit!

What results have you seen so far in coming to CFE?
I can lift so much more than when I started a few years ago. I can also run much faster than I ever could before.
My endurance in general has significantly improved.

Do you have any special or successful CrossFit Eclipse memories/moments?
Competing in KO in the OK with an awesome team. I’ve made some great friends through Eclipse in general!

What sort of life changes have you experienced because of CrossFit that you didn’t expect?
I’ve discovered that I really enjoy the competitive aspect of the activity. I’ve never been much of a competitive person, but I really enjoy the friendly competitive side of CrossFit!

What advice would you give to a newbie or someone just joining CrossFit Eclipse?
You don’t have to be the strongest or fastest person in the room. Slow and steady wins in the long run. No one else is watching or judging you, they just want to see you succeed. Keep coming back and don’t give up!

Current training Goals/PRs?
GETTING 1ST IN BACKYARD BRAWL (LET’S GO BLOCKER!) Also working on muscle up technique and consistency

If you could create a WOD and name it for yourself, what would it be?
“Are they really going to make me do this??”
For time: 1 mile run, 10 rounds of 10 pull ups, 10 power cleans, 50 double unders, and another 1 mile run
