What are your favorite hobbies, talents, and skills outside of CrossFit?

Outside of CrossFit, I enjoy anything outdoors or water activities. I am also part of the Tulsa Master Swim Team; so swimming is also my thing. I enjoy going out with friends 2-stepping, salsa/all of the dancing. I am always down for a good time.

How did you find/get to CrossFit Eclipse? 

I was scrolling on Instagram; some of the friends that I have meet as I moved to Tulsa would post about it. I scrolled through the page and meet with Aaron. 

What motto or phrase do you live by?

Your EGO is not your AMIGO.

What is your favorite music to listen to while WODing?

Bad Bunny, 2000’s Hip-Hop 

What is your favorite WOD? 

Any partner WOD.

What is your favorite cheat Food(s)?

I don’t know if you would call it cheat food, but I LOVE pizza. 

What is one thing you have done at CFE that you never thought you would do?

All of the above from wall-ups, pull-ups (never had enough upper body strength to want to attempt any), and double-unders. 

What motivates you through your CrossFit journey?

The friends and coaches pushing each other and holding each other accountable. The gym is a HUGE stress reliever. 

What results have you seen so far in coming to CFE?

The results that have seen since I started CFE are a “fitter” me. Losing 6lbs and gaining 2 in muscle from the body scan. I also feel the power that I have gained in the water when I do go for swim practices and get some personal times in the water. 

Do you have any special or successful CrossFit Eclipse memories/moments?

The memory that will always stay with me is getting kipping pull-ups down for the first time; which also came with ripping my hand but it was well worth it. 

What sort of life changes have you experienced because of CrossFit that you didn’t expect?

The biggest change that I did not expect is watching what I eat. Most definitely do not eat out as much and have made healthier choices in my eating habits. I know this area needs improvement but I know I have great support at CFE. 

What advice would you give to a newbie or someone just joining CrossFit Eclipse? 

The advice I would give a newbie is to trust the process and ask all the questions. The coaches and current members are willing to help you and motivate you to achieve your goals. 

Current training Goals/PRs?

Doing Toes-to-Bar, pull-ups, double-unders consistently.  

If you could create a WOD and name it for yourself, what would it be? 

I don’t know the order or the number of reps to do; which is why I come to CFE but my workout would consist of running, power cleans, double-unders, and sit-ups. Partnered of course.

I’m pretty good at my job! And I love it!

How did you find/get to CrossFit Eclipse? 

A friend of mine recommended I try it out! Thanks friend! 

What motto or phrase do you live by? 

Is what I’m doing now serving the person I want to become?

What is your favorite music to listen to while WODing?

Dance music and rock!

What is your favorite WOD? 

Anything with gymnastics!

What is your favorite cheat Food(s)? 

Recently I’ve been craving some French fries!

What is one thing you have done at CFE that you never thought you would do?

All of it!! 

What motivates you through your CrossFit journey? 

The community at Eclipse!

What results have you seen so far in coming to CFE? 

My body looks completely different!

Do you have any special or successful CrossFit Eclipse memories/moments?

Competing in my first barbell meet was something I never thought I would do!

What sort of life changes have you experienced because of CrossFit that you didn’t expect?

Everything. Look better, feel better, sleep better, eat better. 

What advice would you give to a newbie or someone just joining CrossFit Eclipse?
