When did you first start crossfitting? About 2 years ago

Tell us about your sports & fitness background? I used to do competitive cheer for 9 years and I cheered for Metro all the way through elementary to junior year.

How did you first get into Crossfit? How did it go? My dad and Hailey kept begging me for a long time to try it out and I finally tried it and I fell in love with the sport. My first class went really well and everyone was so nice and it was easy for me to come back for more classes.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting crossfit? I have noticed more muscle tone and I’ve been feeling a lot better about my body and the way I look. I’ve noticed my bad eating habits have gone away quite a bit and I’m eating a lot healthier.

What impact has crossfit had in your life? Oh man, if it wasn’t for crossfit I wouldn’t be where I am today.. it has helped me stay out of trouble in life and whenever I’ve had a horrible day I know that I can come in and focus ever harder than the day before. crossfit is my 2nd home and I love being there. I definitely wouldn’t have the awesome changes in my body if I had not started. whenever I come into the gym it’s a break from my life and it’s a chance to get better.

What is your advice for people getting started or thinking about starting crossfit? I’d say that it’s definitely a great way to get stronger and healthier. It’s so much fun and the environment is so friendly and amazing. the workouts can be difficult sometimes but you never get success if your trying out easy things, you need to have challenges to be better. But most of all just have fun and stay focused.

What are your hobbies, interests and other talents outside of crossfit? I like listening to music and spending time with family and our dogs. I love going to the zoo and aquarium. I love and care for all animals so much. my dream job is to work with animals and train them and care for them.
