Olympic Weightlifting


Eclipse Barbell Club is an official USAW weightlifting club that focuses on training the basics and building strengths of the Olympic lifts: Snatch and Clean & Jerk. This program flows through cycles to help prepare our athletes year round for competition, sport and fundamentals. Led by our Head Coach Nathan Garcia a Oklahoma State Record Holder, National Qualifier, certified WAG coach and USAW Level 1 certified Coach.

The Eclipse Barbell program builds a foundation on the two main lifts the snatch and clean & jerk. While adding pulling and pushing movements such as back squats, deadlifts, presses and other auxiliary work to build strength for these lifts. Each class is broken down for each athlete to build on where they are currently and work towards their specific goals. Whether they are looking to improve on their technique, be stronger/faster for sport or even compete in weightlifting. You will find what you are wanting from our club!

When is it?

Barbell Club offers three coached lifting sessions:

  • 5:30pm on Tuesdays
  • 5:30pm on Wednesday
  • 5:30pm on Thursday
What will you do in the Barbell Club classes?
  • Follow the programming of the day OR
  • Follow an approved strength-specific program OR
  • Pursue additional weightlifting or powerlifting skill work and accessory work
